Village of Nothing Much App FAQ

The Village of Nothing Much web-based app is on its way this summer!

  • Don't worry. Our team has a list of everyone who pre-registered before the code was applied and will automatically refund the difference within the next week. No additional action is needed.

  • The app will be a place for Villagers to come together, enjoy new ways to listen to our shows, access wind-down practices, join live virtual events, participate in community projects, connect with fellow listeners, and more.

  • Not yet!

    We're currently in the pre-registration phase and are putting the final touches on everything. The app will officially launch this summer.

  • Our web-based app is interactive software you access directly through an internet browser, such as Chrome, Safari, or Edge.

    There is nothing to download or install. You'll be able to access it from your phone, tablet, or computer by signing into your account through your browser.

  • Yes.

    Ad-free listening is available within the app through the browser-based experience. The app does not connect to third-party listening platforms such as Spotify or Apple Podcasts, so ad-free listening will happen directly within the app itself.

  • The app does not link to streaming services. You'll listen directly through the Village app experience.

  • Absolutely.

    Your current Premium membership and your Village app membership are separate subscriptions. You're welcome to keep both if you'd like.

  • Yes.

    First, pre-register for the Village app using promo code VILLAGE-FOUNDER.

    After signing up, email contact@nothingmuchhappens.com and let us know that:

    • You're an Annual Supporting Cast Premium Plus member

    • You'd like to keep your Supporting Cast membership

    • You're also joining the Village app

    When the app launches, we'll issue a prorated refund for the remaining time on your current Supporting Cast subscription.

    This refund will be returned to your original payment method, typically within 3–5 business days.

    Important

    This option is available only for Annual Supporting Cast Premium Plus members.

    Your Supporting Cast and Village memberships will remain separate subscriptions and may renew at different times.

    Future Village renewals will account for your Supporting Cast membership so you are not paying twice for ad-free listening.

  • First, pre-register for the Village app using promo code VILLAGE-FOUNDER.

    Then email contact@nothingmuchhappens.com and let us know you'd like to transition from Supporting Cast to the Village app.

    When the app launches, we'll:

    • Cancel your Supporting Cast membership

    • Ensure there is no interruption in your ad-free listening

    • Issue a prorated refund for the remaining time on your membership

    Refunds are typically returned to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.

  • Apple subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple, and we do not have access to Apple subscription accounts.

    We recommend:

    1. Contacting Apple Support

    2. Cancelling your Apple Subscriber Edition membership

    3. Requesting a prorated refund from Apple

    4. Signing up for the Village app using promo code VILLAGE-FOUNDER

    If you'd still like ad-free listening through Apple Podcasts, you may wish to maintain a Supporting Cast Premium membership alongside the app, as Supporting Cast can connect with Apple Podcasts and allows us to assist with account-related questions.

  • If you're one of the first fifty Villagers to pre-register, our team will be reaching out by email soon to collect your shipping information for your weighted pillow.
